This card is a go-to favorite design of mine so I decided to share it for the Scrap it Girl June Challenge: Things With Wings. 20140601-151046-54646715.jpg I love it so much! It uses some of my favorite tools and supplies. Here is my card: 20140601-151204-54724975.jpg And a few close-ups: 20140601-151234-54754431.jpg 20140601-151231-54751917.jpg 20140601-151230-54750707.jpg 20140601-151233-54753107.jpg See why it’s a favorite? And it’s great for most sentiments- get well, happy birthday, sympathy, etc. Here are some of the products I used: (all from Stampin’ Up! Just click my “contact” button to email for details on ordering!) 20140601-151410-54850097.jpg The butterfly stamp is called Swallowtail. It’s a large stamp that can be used in a variety of techniques.

Another stamp set is Itty Bitty Banners I used my Big Shot (this thing is FABULOUS!) with Bitty Banners Framelits and Pretty Print embossing folder (retired item).

To achieve the shiny gold effect, I used Gold Stampin’ Emboss powder, VersaMark stamp pad and (another favorite) my Heat Tool and the cute little Embossing Buddy (not pictured… he was being shy)

My ribbon – OHHHH. I LOVE THIS RIBBON! is: 1/2″ Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon.

Choose inks and cardstock colors to achieve the look you want!

So that’s my share- want to get in on the challenge? All the deets are here: Scrap it Girl! and yes! There’s a prize! Thanks for stopping by! God bless! Kathy Bo

I saw this fun wreath online and had to make one to display at my upcoming Christmas Open House! If you are local, it’s Saturday Oct 19!

20130930-214911.jpg
This wreath is made of Stampin’ Up Designer Series Paper and ribbon, a styrofoam wreath and floral pins.

20130930-215330.jpg
I LOVE this paper! Not only is it durable enough to cut into strips and curl, it is fun and right on trend for the holidays. Cool thing though, it can really be used all year long for cards or scrapbooking!
Love it too? You can find it HERE

The ribbon is also Stampin’ Up. It’s 1″ stitched edge Cherry Cobbler grosgrain and I use it for cards but I think it’s perfect for hanging the wreath. Besides, the red in the wreath matches perfectly! You’ll find it right here!

The wreath came from Hobby Lobby. The label says it’s a 12″ white “extruded” wreath and cost $4.47. The pins, also Hobby Lobby, $4.99 for a pound. (I put the wreath sticker on the pin bag).

20130930-220855.jpg

Ok, here’s how to make one:
Order your paper and ribbon from my site here(thank you very much!).

Cut paper into 1 1/8 X 6 1/2 strips. I used my Stampin’ Trimmer

20130930-221143.jpg
Curl the ends of the paper strips. Tighten or loosen the curls as desired.

20130930-221449.jpg
Place the paper curl on the wreath and pin it down. It works much better if you just position it, hold it in place, then pin.

20130930-221747.jpg
I put the ribbon on like this so it would hang flat, then tied a bow at the top.

20130930-222048.jpg
Now all you have to do is cut, curl and pin to your heart’s content! It won’t take long to create this beautiful wreath to share as a sweet gift or to make your home even more special this Christmas! I love it so much I’ll be making a fall one next!
Thanks for visiting my blog! God bless you!

A quick share tonight- I’m pretty tired after traveling to the GrandLittle’s birthday!
Today’s technique is CASEd (copy and share everything) from www.stampwithtami.com
It’s a chalkboard effect Valentine’s Day card.

20130129-225303.jpg
What did I use? Well, here we go:

Stampin’ Up! (SU) cardstock, SU Cherry Cobbler heat embossing powder, SU Hearts A Flutter bundle, SU Tiny Tags clear mount stamps, SU Elements Cute Clips, SU Whisper White ink, Pen-Touch white paint pen.

That’s it! Easy peasy.
Thanks for stopping by and God bless!

I made this little notepad with Stampin Up Designer Series Papers, cardstock, Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder and punches. Here’s how it turned out:

20130127-232457.jpg

The inside features a notepad and pen. The pen has a bit of Velcro to keep it in place.

20130127-235353.jpg

Here are the items I used to create this super cute and easy gift! International Bazaar Designer Series Paper

20130127-233157.jpg

Brights collection card stock

20130127-233436.jpg
Elegant Butterfly punch

20130127-233555.jpg
Scallop Circle punches

20130127-233731.jpg
A bit of vellum

20130127-233844.jpg
Rhinestone Basic Jewels!

20130127-234004.jpg
And this embossing folder

20130127-234148.jpg
I found the little spiral notepad at WalMart and used a heat knife to cut the plastic case

20130127-234334.jpg
And the case? It’s the same ones our clear mount stamps come in! I love these little cases!

20130127-234516.jpg
Almost forgot: the scallop edge border punch!

20130127-234901.jpg
Add a bit of TomBow Multi glue, snail adhesive, and some great music (Adele on Pandora is pretty much the standard in my studio) and you have fun while creating a great gift to share!

Thanks for visiting! God bless,
Kathy Bo
