This card is a go-to favorite design of mine so I decided to share it for the Scrap it Girl June Challenge: Things With Wings. 20140601-151046-54646715.jpg I love it so much! It uses some of my favorite tools and supplies. Here is my card: 20140601-151204-54724975.jpg And a few close-ups: 20140601-151234-54754431.jpg 20140601-151231-54751917.jpg 20140601-151230-54750707.jpg 20140601-151233-54753107.jpg See why it’s a favorite? And it’s great for most sentiments- get well, happy birthday, sympathy, etc. Here are some of the products I used: (all from Stampin’ Up! Just click my “contact” button to email for details on ordering!) 20140601-151410-54850097.jpg The butterfly stamp is called Swallowtail. It’s a large stamp that can be used in a variety of techniques.

Another stamp set is Itty Bitty Banners I used my Big Shot (this thing is FABULOUS!) with Bitty Banners Framelits and Pretty Print embossing folder (retired item).

To achieve the shiny gold effect, I used Gold Stampin’ Emboss powder, VersaMark stamp pad and (another favorite) my Heat Tool and the cute little Embossing Buddy (not pictured… he was being shy)

My ribbon – OHHHH. I LOVE THIS RIBBON! is: 1/2″ Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon.

Choose inks and cardstock colors to achieve the look you want!

So that’s my share- want to get in on the challenge? All the deets are here: Scrap it Girl! and yes! There’s a prize! Thanks for stopping by! God bless! Kathy Bo

(This blog entry should have posted in Jan 2013)

I am so excited today! Ninja Man and I have traveled to Orlando and I will be attending a much-anticipated and hard earned Leadership event with Stampin’ Up! beginning Thursday.

One thing we can do at these things is sign up in advance of the event and commit to make a specified number of items and then swap them in a group. It might be cards, 3D projects, scrapbooking pages or …(drumroll please)…CARD CANDY!. I have never made cc before, so I couldn’t wait to whip some out!

Little did I know it would take QUITE a while to design these cuties!

When you do an arranged swap at a Stampin’ Up event, the purpose is to come away with a variety of examples of the latest products. New tools, papers, punches and techniques are released several times a year while previous favorites may be discontinued. We have to use only current products, so it took me a while to double check to make sure everything fit the guidelines of the swap.

So here are my little card candies! Let me know what you think!

Which one is your favorite? Mine is the heart! I added an Action Wobble Spring to the back and it wiggles!

How fun is THAT!

Thanks for visiting! God Bless!
