I couldn’t let the woman and child peer from that porthole much longer without the companion piece: The Captain. I don’t know when I’ve enjoyed a project more.  I’m very passionate about the sea.  It has just always intrigued me from a mysterious, romantic standpoint.  I remember when I was – hmmm…I guess 14 years old – I wrote a poem about a sea captain and the woman waiting for him.  It was about the time the song Brandy came out.  I still love that song. 

Well, here he is.  Reader, meet The Captain.  Captain, say hello to my reader.

I used the same products as on the previous post of the woman and child.  I still have to name that one.
