I am so excited when my Paper Pumpkin surprise arrives in the mail each week! Even better is when I can use part of the kit to create something entirely different! The Paper Pumpkin for April 2015 features the base that this sweet greeting is built upon. That kraft sleeve is the Paper Pumpkin part. All other goodies are from the 2014-2015 Stampin’ Up annual catalog or the 2015 Occasions Catalog.

Y’all know how much I love vintage (as does Shelli Gardner, co-founder and CEO of Stampin’ Up!), so I couldn’t wait to put all these beautiful elements together. image

And the fact that there is not a specific sentiment means this beauty can be personalized for any occasion.

As far as supplies are concerned, I had them all listed here with links to my store, but there was a glitch and I lost all of the text in this post! So sad when that happens!  I will gather those items and list again, complete with links. Meanwhile, visit my store here!

Thanks for stopping by! God bless.

Wow, another day, another sweet reminder that I’m nearing the big FIVE OH. The end of my 40’s, the beginning of the next, er, um, age of wonder! I will tell you, in these last days of being 40-something, my 40’s were the best age of all. In this life I have been blessed in so many ways with my husband, daughter, son and in-law kids, a mom that lived long to see them all and a dad still with us. These are the best days, no doubt.

I’m a Red Hat Society member, and have spent the last few years as a pink hatter. I will be “redulated” shortly after my birthday and my lady friends will plop a red hat on my head and I will then be official. I hope my 50’s are as wonderful as the last 40 have been, and with my faith, my family and friends, I know it will be.

So on to today’s special gift from my friend! Can you imagine how much time this must have taken? She is thoughtful beyond measure!

There was this BIG box on the shelf, and I’d been waiting to open it. Not sure why I waited, because I was really curious to know what was in it. What a delightful surprise I found!

When I first opened the box, I immediately noticed the beautiful roses on the teacup, then I saw that this cup is actually heart-shaped! In the picture below, you can see a little indention where the cup curves in, and a point on the opposite side. Very pretty! The matching saucer is so dainty! What a very thoughtful friend I have, and with GREAT taste! I can’t wait for my morning tea tomorrow.
