Archive for the ‘Mother’s Day cards’ Category

It’s time for the monthly challenge for Scrap it Girl!
The May 2014 challenge for SIG designers is to create a layout or card using a choice of Mother’s Day or Mother Nature. I had this card in mind and decided to give it a whirl.

My mom as well as mother in law have both passed so I’m hoping a friend might need this little card.
I used all Stampin Up products to make the card and lined envelope. Here’s the list:
Whisper white card stock
Ink: Pistachio Pudding Crisp Cantaloupe Summer Starfruit Coastal Cabana Island Indigo
Stamps: (retired, but you can choose more here!)
Blessings from Heaven
Delightful Dozen
Best of Butterflies
Chevron Embossing folder
Spiral flower die (FUN!!)
Big Shot
Rhinestone jewels
5/8 organza ribbon
Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper
I did notice one boo-boo, and that is the pretty envelope- this card really needs a handmade box due to the 3D rose! Oh well, it’s the thought that counts, right?
With two grown kids, two in-law kids and 3 grandLittles, I’m looking forward to Mother’s Day this year.
I hope you have a happy and blessed Mother’s Day too!
Thanks for stopping by! God bless,
Kathy Bo
