So I finally found my Betz White book and ohhhh my calorie free goodness… I made one of her cupcake pincushions.

This is from thrift store wool sweaters that I felted, cut and sewed… I still have a lot of the felt left. I put a little “something” on top… not quite a cherry… but I had plenty of orange so I used it to make a fruity something with green leaves. To my woe, I realized just as I was making the last few stitches that Betz uses a contrasting color for the outside of the cupcake. Drat. Oh well, it is my first attempt and I am now on to trying more scrumptious things from her wonderful book! It is eye candy at its best!

Do check out her site and her wonderful felted goodies… it will make you drool!

I plan to get some of those fancy-headed pins to accent it… will post more later!
