My son (The Boy) and his beautiful wife Em are expecting their third baby in the next few weeks. His or her arrival brings a total of 5 grandLittles in our blessed family.

There’s a baby shower tonight and among the surprises I have for Em is this sign.

While planning this gift I realized that I’m not so sure I like telling the anonymous public that there’s a baby in the house, so I decided “Quiet Time” would get the point across just fine.

I started with this inexpensive chalkboard blank from Walmart.

I wanted teal vinyl but didn’t have any so I chose the green, loaded the mat into my Silhouette, chose the font and BadaBing! It’s a gift.

Well, actually it became a gift after I weeded the vinyl letters, drew little dashes with my Expo marker and added some perfectly matching  (green with white dashes!) ribbon from Stampin’ Up! This ribbon is discontinued BUT there are lots of gorgeous ribbons here in my store!

Come back later to see the super cute cards I made to go on the gifts!

Y’all have a blessed day! Thanks for stopping by!

I am so excited when my Paper Pumpkin surprise arrives in the mail each week! Even better is when I can use part of the kit to create something entirely different! The Paper Pumpkin for April 2015 features the base that this sweet greeting is built upon. That kraft sleeve is the Paper Pumpkin part. All other goodies are from the 2014-2015 Stampin’ Up annual catalog or the 2015 Occasions Catalog.

Y’all know how much I love vintage (as does Shelli Gardner, co-founder and CEO of Stampin’ Up!), so I couldn’t wait to put all these beautiful elements together. image

And the fact that there is not a specific sentiment means this beauty can be personalized for any occasion.

As far as supplies are concerned, I had them all listed here with links to my store, but there was a glitch and I lost all of the text in this post! So sad when that happens!  I will gather those items and list again, complete with links. Meanwhile, visit my store here!

Thanks for stopping by! God bless.
